The amended draft AS 7507 Rolling Stock Outlines is now open for additional Public Consultation.
How this product helps the rail industry
AS 7507 Rolling Stock Outlines Standard directly supports national reform initiatives and network consistency and is a foundational document for the Australian rail industry.
It clearly defines the technical requirements for determining whether rolling stock conforms to established reference outlines.
About
As a result of feedback from the first public consultation, ARISO has reviewed all submissions and incorporated a number of targeted amendments and clarifications into the draft Standard for further public review and comment.
While there have been general improvements to content and clarity throughout, the principal changes are concentrated in Section 3 – Assessment and calculations and Section 5 – Testing requirements.
The public are invited to participate in this targeted review of the principle amendments for a period of 30 days.

AS 7507 Rolling Stock Outlines is available for additional public consultation for 30 days. All interested parties are encouraged to provide comments during this time.
